Yapper
A quiet desk for practicing talks out loud.
Set what you mean to say. Then just talk. A small companion listens — mirroring the shape of it as you go, and keeping a recording you can sit with afterward. Everything runs on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.
the shape of it
At the desk. Jot an intent — a title, or paste your whole notes — pick a mic, and begin.
While you talk. A living outline of where you've been, a gentle mark when you circle back, a recording running underneath.
Looking back. Listen again, read the transcript, and see the story-shape — where it opened, where it landed — with one thing to try next time.
Local by design. The listening model and the thinking model both live on your machine. After a one-time download, Yapper works fully offline — your voice never leaves the desk.
